How does it all work?

First let me say welcome and congratulations on your up and coming Nuptials!

The process begins with an in-person meeting to see if we are a “good fit” for each other.  

If we agree to work together, we will discuss what is important to you.  


With the information you share with me, I will design a ceremony that will truly reflect who you are and what your wish are, a ceremony that is professional and caring and one that will bring you and your guest the memories of a lifetime.

Weather you are religious or non-religious, spiritual but not religious, inter-faith or non-denominational or somewhere in between, I’m here to create a personalized ceremony that will reflect your lives, your love and the best of what you have become.

It’s a very big world that we live in. Who ever you are, I am committed to creating a personalized wedding that incorporates your beliefs and emotions.

CHRISTIAN

Within the Christian religion, there are many ceremonial options.  All Christian faiths can be embraced with an almost unlimited list of choices of what I call “ceremonial enhancements”. While these ceremony enhancements are not required in your wedding they do add a lovely element to your event.

NON-DENOMINATION

We live in an imperfect world. Very different for the stuff that fairy tails are made of. Cinderella didn’t have to worry about “different religions” or “what is my family going to say when I tell them he is not of our faith?  Your marriage is the blending of the two of you and your respective families but this is the real world.

We all have stress and “issues”.  Sometimes it takes a special sensitivity to help couples work through the “blending” of their families, their faiths and even their friends so the “issues” don’t get in the way of our “happily ever-after”.

Special care is sometimes needed to help couples work through then “blending” of their faith and families.  I take great care to make your ceremony meaningful to your faiths, your heritage and your families. Together we are creating a new family…your family.  With understanding, I help bring families together who can’t seem to figure out what to do about he “issues” buy bridging your difference and making you “whole”.

INTERFAITH CHRISTIAN-JEWISH CEREMONY

Need information to help plan your interfaith Christian-Jewish wedding?   Interfaith marriages can become complicated and stalled by many issues, but you’ve found then right place to get the answers you so badly need.

As ad Interfaith Christian-Jewish Officiant, I can provide the following information and services all of which can be adapted to your needs:

*Officiate your (non Orthodox) Jewish ceremony and or help you find a Rabbi or Cantor to Officiate at an Interfaith Wedding

*Provide tips for inclusive Wedding Ceremonies

* Explain what makes a Jewish Wedding

* Help with Jewish Wedding Attire: Special; Concerns

* Examine the differences between a Christian and Jewish Wedding

*Help in finding the common ground for the Jewish-Christian Ceremony

* Expose the obstacles in the planning of a Jewish-Christian Wedding

While I am not a Rabbi, I am happy and comfortable performing a Jewish” style ceremony for any couple that desires one.

Spiritual

The spiritual ceremony is a “universe” focused ceremony. Your guest would not necessarily realize that there is little to no mention of God or a higher power.  The focus is on the earth, the sun, the sky and universe as a whole. Lovely in it’s verbiage and feel, a “spirit filled” ceremony appeals to all as it traditionally transcends all religious and cultural beliefs and can be a great solution for families that are struggling with the blending of two different cultures and or religions.

Non-Religious

Are you an Atheist or of another belief system that just can’t be placed in some nice, neat category?  Maybe your fiancé is religious and you are not. Well, no worries because this is where Officiants shine. Did you know we typically are not Ministers?  I have embraced all belief systems and can bring to your wedding the elements that are important to you and your fiancé.

Vow Renewal:

Maybe your initial wedding wasn’t exactly “the perfect” day or you simply want to renew the special feelings you have for one another.  The renewal of vows is the perfect choice. Together we will create a personal ceremony that reflects the love you felt for each other as bride and groom and how your love has grown over the years. Invite your family and friends and create a new wedding day in which you and your love will renew the vows you made to each other.

Commitment Ceremonies:

Have you been together for years or you’re in the early stages of love?  Either way, your decision to commit to a life partner is a wonderful step in life and your relationship. I would love to be part of that day.  Together we will create the words that will be spoken from your hearts on your special day.  It will be a personal reflection of your relationship and your future years together.
